Planning ahead can help make your move less stressful for your furry friends. Update their tags with their new address, and request their vet records from the vet. Keep one week's worth of food and any medications, plus those vet records, with you during the move. On the day you move out of your old home, make sure your pets are kept in a quiet place with all their favorite things and a little soft music playing. Place a sign on the door for the movers.
In your new home, do the same thing: quiet room with music playing, surrounded by their favorite things. Make sure you and your pet travel safely, whether by vehicle or by plane. Email me for more moving tips!
