DEEP CLEANING AND BASIC HOME MAINTENANCE

With kids careening toward summer break, now is a great time to teach them the joys of deep cleaning and home maintenance! By no means is this a comprehensive list, but it will give you a good start to keeping your home sparkly clean.

​If you're planning to sell your home, this is also a great checklist to help you get started on cleaning and decluttering. Go through your junk drawer(s) to eliminate all those papers you don't need. Go through each bedroom with two boxes labeled "Pack Now" and "Toss." Deep clean, and do paint and stain touch ups and other minor and easy fixes.
