It's no secret that I have a sweet tooth and that I love breads. And although I try to limit my carb intake, the array of fantastic bakeries we have here in Katy certainly makes that a difficult endeavor!

Meesobella

Easily one of my new favorite spots in the Katy area, this bakery and cafe on 1093 in Richmond offers fabulous pastries - from cakes and cannolis to muffins and croissants - as well as tasty breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, and gelato. The decor is chic and beautiful, perfect for a ladies' day out.

Temptation's Bite

Located on Kingsland Boulevard, Temptation's Bite is run by a mother and daughter team, with a focus on quality breads. 

Y&H Buttery Bakery

A hidden gem on Pin Oak Road, Y&H Buttery Bakery offers savory and sweet croissants, plus hot and cold beverages.

Ooh La La Dessert Boutique

This dessert spot is a local favorite, with a focus on cupcakes and macarons. To satisfy your sweet tooth, visit Ooh La La on Westheimer Parkway.

Sweet Intensity

For the best selection of macarons, visit Sweet Intensity on Mason Road. Their goat cheese and fig macaron is to die for, and they offer seasonal macarons for holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, and Christmas.

Nectar Bakery

Known for their beautiful cakes and tasty alfajores, Nectar Bakery is located just off Falcon Landing Blvd.

Colombian House Bakery

As their name suggests, Colombian House on Mason Road features Colombian favorites, like buñuelos, bolillos, and empanadas, as well as traditional Colombian breakfast and lunch plates.

85C Bakery

With a large selection of both savory and sweet pastries, 85C Bakery is an Asian Bakery with locations all over the globe. Katy's location is in Katy Asian Town.

Paris Baguette

A global chain that recently opened its first location in Katy, Paris Baguette is located in Katy Asian Town and features pastries, cakes, sandwiches, and more.

Delices De Maurice

Though I generally go for the sandwiches and crepes, Delices de Maurice has a fabulous selection of delicious pastries and baked goods.

Nuestra Casa

A South American bakery, Nuestra Casa offers savory and sweet pastries, including two different styles of empanadas.

Proud Pie

A local favorite, Proud Pie offers the best selection of inventive pies in the area. Their Big Texas Muddy Bottom Pecan Pie and Wobbly Turtle Chocolate Silk Pie are my personal favorites, though you can't go wrong with their specialty limited time pies which rotate each week.
